Thomas "Tom" Roth died peacefully on April 12, 2025 in Clovis, New Mexico at the age of 73. Tom is survived by his Son, Kevin (Chrissy) Roth of Clovis, New Mexico, his Grandsons Gabriel and Jackson Roth also of Clovis, New Mexico, and his Siblings Jane Bodem of Dayton, Ohio, Mark (Teresa) Roth of Troy, Ohio, Christopher (Tron) Roth of St. Louis, Missouri, as well as multiple Nieces, Nephews, and close family friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Parker Roth, and his Parents, Robert Charles Roth, and Mildred May Bauer.
Tom graduated from Fairview High School in Dayton, Ohio. He married Parker Roth, and together they set off on many adventures, including owning and running multiple Alpaca Farms. After moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tom began working for Iron Mountain as a Market VP, and eventually moved his career to Underground Archives, LLC where he officially retired. Parker and Tom moved their Alpaca farm from Gibsona, Pennsylvania (Virgina Manor Alpacas) to Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania, (Lucky Star Alpaca Farm) and enjoyed the quiet Pennsylvania country side, before moving to Clovis, New Mexico.
His family remembers him as a dedicated father and grandfather, who loved all things in nature, and could be counted on to identify all types of plants, birds, and animals. He always had his fishing pole ready and loved spending time with his grandsons. He was a witty individual who loved to cook, and was passionate about trying new recipes, and making delicious homemade bread. Tom loved nature, and has requested a natural burial to be one with the earth. A small grave side service will be held where Tom and Parker will once again be reunited to spend all of eternity in the presence of the beautiful New Mexico desert landscape. The family would like to thank all the caregivers at MD Anderson, and Compassus Hospice for the dedication to Tom's care. The family would also like to thank Steed-Todd Funeral Home for their dedication in handling all of the funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tom's name to the American Cancer Society, or the Plant-A-Tree Program at plantatree.fs.usda.gov.
