Troy Hukill

Troy Dale Hukill, born on April 22, 1957, passed away suddenly on August 29, 2025 at the age of 68.

Troy spent his career in customer service in the parts department, proudly working for Jones Pontiac GMC Buick, Doc Stewart Chevrolet, Bender Chevrolet, and then Hamilton Hyundai Dealership. Known for his knowledge, dedication, and strong work ethic, he built lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

A true outdoorsman, Troy had a lifelong passion for guns, knives, and nature. Whether shooting guns with friends, tending to the farm, camping, fishing, or swapping stories around a fire, he found joy and peace in the simple pleasures of life. His greatest pride, however, was his family. He dearly loved his daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. He dearly loved and cherished his friends, whom he considered his chosen family - including Ben Buesgens, Ronnie and Brian Jones, among many others.

Troy was a loyal and devoted friend, Papa Troy, and dad who was always up for good company and a good laugh. He found happiness living on the family farm, a place that brought him comfort, pride, and connection to his roots.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his deep love for family and friends, and his unwavering appreciation for the outdoors and the life he built.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Sharalyn Hukill, and his sister, Cathy Crosswhite.

Troy is survived by his daughter Sharalyn (ShaRhea) Hiser and her husband Christopher Hiser and their three children, Veda, Eris, and Cole Hiser and granddaughter Emma Harrell.

A celebration of life to honor Troy will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 10:00am at Lawn Haven Cemetery in Clovis, New Mexico. Following services at the cemetery, there will be a gathering for family and friends at the Hukill Farm.
