Victor Jose Inez Chavez, 75, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on Sunday

March 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at Steed Todd Funeral Home.

Rosary to be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 8, 2024 and mass of the

resurrection to follow at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 108 Davis

Street with Father Eli Valadez officiating. Burial to follow at Mission Garden of

Memories, 2900 W. 7 th Street.

Victor was born on July 13, 1948 in Clovis N.M. to Jose Inez and Erlinda

Chavez. He married Patricia Baca on February 15, 1964. He worked as a

contractor and was a jack of all trades. He was a faith-filled son, husband, father,

tio, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and an inspiration to many with a

heart of gold.

Victor is proceeded in death by his parents, Jose Inez and Erlinda Chavez,

his mother and father-in-law, Andronico and Beatrice Baca, brothers, Ernesto

(Eva) Chavez, Abelino (Mary) Chavez, Freddy Chavez, sister, Julia (Ernest) Baca,

and sons, Johnny Joe Chavez, Toby Chavez, and Ronald Chavez.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Chavez, his children, Enrique

Chavez, Roland (Leslie) Chavez, Regina (Carlos) Torres, Monica (Manuel) Segura,

his brother, Johnny (Rosalia) Chavez, his sisters, Rose Chavez, Jane Sanchez, Toni

Chavez, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers: David Marez, Leo Chavez, Cecilio Lopez, Andres Lopez, Roland

Chavez, Jr., and Sergio Martinez.

Honorary Pallbearers: all of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces,

nephews, and friends
