Virginia Schumacher

Virginia Ruth Schumacher, age 78, of Tucumcari, NM gained her angel wings on November 14, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 8, 1940 in Clinton, KY to the home of Charles and Christine Padgett.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Christine Padgett; her husband, James Schumacher; a son, Jeff Schumacher; a sister, Barbara Nell Padgett; a brother, Charles Padgett; a granddaughter, Terrah Trainer.

She leaves behind her daughter, Sandy Trainer of Rio Rancho, NM; granddaughter, Melody (Steve) Farrelly of Rio Rancho, NM; grandsons, Adam (Deja) Young of Albuquerque, NM, and Brandon Trainer of Moriarty, NM; a sister, Sara Tanner of Union City, TN; ; great-grandsons, Aiden, Eli and Aaron; and great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Young.

Virginia will be laid to rest with her late husband in the Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, TX at a later date.
