William "Bill" Dannheim Jr

William "Bill" Henry Dannheim Jr, 81, passed away peacefully in his home on January 11, 2026. Bill was born March 23, in Clovis, NM. His life was filled full of love, laughter and dedication.
Bill was the first son to William and Lorine Dannheim. He attended and graduated from Farwell High School in 1962. Bill was an extremely talented athlete excelling in football, basketball and track. He was honored as an all district player during his high school years. After graduation he joined the United States Army for 6 years. After his service, he was known as "Mister Bill" as the maintenance supervisor at Pensburg Elementary School. His favorite role for 30 years was " Dr. Suess - Cat in the Hat" (with costume), reading and playing with children.
After retirement Bill returned to Farwell and became the 4th division commander of the American Legion. Bill was an intense Dallas Cowboys fan, as well as, an Avid golf player. He enjoyed his time with family and friends for visits and laughter.
Bill is preceded in death by 2 deceased wives (Caroline and Dorothy), his parents William and Lorine, a sister Evon, and 2 brothers, Charles and Duke.
He is survived by 1 sister Linda, and sister in law, Vicki. He was loved by many including multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bill will be always loved and missed by all.
Services will be at St John Lutheran Church, Lariat, TX, at 10:00am, Friday, January 16th, 2026
