William Fitzgerald

William Ray Fitzgerald, 84 yrs, of Clovis, NM, passed away on December 27, 2017 in Lubbock, TX.

Memorial service will be held at Forrest Heights Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 1701 S. Prince St., Clovis, NM, from 1:00pm-2:00pm, on January 11th. Come and celebrate his life with family and friends.

Ray was born in Bellview, NM to William Maxwell and Ada Faye Fitzgerald on December 8th, 1933.

Ray is survived by: his children, William Ray (Billy) Fitzgerald and wife Deborah of Enterprise, KS, Raylene and husband Wayne Wilson of Angleton, TX, Cindy Reese of Lubbock, TX, Ray Maxwell Fitzgerald and wife Mary of Cottage Grove, OR; grandchildren, Valerie Reed, Cory Fitzgerald, Chase Watson, Jordyn Kennon, Cody Fitzgerald, Dylan Fitzgerald, Brittney Simmons, Josh Reese and Tyler Reese; great-grandchildren, Mia, Layla, Xander, River and Indie; brothers, Howard Fitzgerald of Big Sandy, TX and Larry Fitzgerald of Clovis, NM.

Ray served in the US Army from 1953-1955 and was in the reserves until 1961. Dad was a Sargent and received Korean Service, UN Service, and National Defense Service Medals.

Preceding his death are his parents, wife Ramona, and brothers, James, Leslie, and Alton Fitzgerald.
