William Guillermo Sandoval of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on April 24, 2026 in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife by his side.
Memorial services will be held in the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 15, 2026. Arrangements are under the direction of Steed Todd Funeral Home.
William, who was affectionately known as Guillermo, was born on July 15, 1969 in Clovis, New Mexico to William Sandoval, Sr. and Gloria Armijo Sandoval. He attended Clovis High School and graduated in 1987. He married the love of his life, Rene Encinias Padilla, on August 10, 2012.
William was a devoted husband and father to his wife and children. He worked as a Cattle Animal Nutritionist for 10 years. He also worked at Hone Treat for many years. He loved to spend his time camping and fishing, and loved golfing with friends and family. William was also an avid football fan, and was a loyal and devoted Houston Texans fan. He watched every game, win or lose.
William was a great planner, and woke up with a purpose every day. He lived life to the fullest, and seized every moment to spend with those he cared about. He was a jokester, and his timing for cracking a joke was always at the right moment. He had a nickname for everyone, especially his workmates, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father William Sandoval, Sr., Aunt Cordie, and Brother-in-law Jacob Rodriguez.
Survivors include his wife, Rene Sandoval of Clovis; son, Joshua Sandoval and wife Amber; daughters, Leah Blea and husband Kevin, Melina Weisheit and husband Kayden, and Erin Garcia and husband Joseph; mother Gloria Regalado; sisters, Susie Ortiz and husband Noel, Judy Rodriguez, Lori Gauna and husband Jessie, and Joseph Sandoval and wife Megan; grandchildren, Easton Garcia, Nicolas Sandoval, and a baby girl Maggie Garcia on the way.
The family of William wishes to extend a sincere thanks to Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, and all of the doctors and nurses who helped with William's care.
