Delois Edwards

Delois Carlene Edwards of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on March 25, 2023, in Clovis. Delois was born in Eldorado, Oklahoma to Garrett Carter and Hazel Carmichael on August 13, 1943. She married Fred Edwards on June 9, 1961, in Morton, Texas.

She worked as a homemaker. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved bird watching and working in the yard. More than anything, she loved being a mom and Nana.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Edwards; her parents Garrett Carter & Hazel Frazier; and her brother, Dee Carter.

She is survived by her daughter, Lacy Smith and husband Damon Smith; her granddaughters, Shaleigh Prucey and husband Brandon, Katelin Smith and boyfriend Michael Turvey; her great-grandsons, Colby, Clark and soon-to-be Coltyn Prucey; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Andrew Collop officiating.
