Donald Placek

Donald Lee Placek, 75, of Texico, NM passed away on March 12, 2023 with his family by his side.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm (TX time) Friday, March 17, 2023 at Church of Christ in Farwell, Tx.

Don was born on June 18, 1947 to Joe and Alice Placek in Beatrice, Nebraska. He married Janet Cline on November 17, 1985 in Hastings, Nebraska. Don was a veteran and served in the Air Force.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Alice; brothers, Delbert, Jim, Gary and Marvin; daughter in law, Karyn; and grandson, Sid.

Donald Lee Placek is survived by his wife of 37 years Janet Placek; children, Jeff (Lisa) Placek, Bobbi (Monty) Greenwood, Chris (Dale) Johnson, Tracy Wawrzyniak (Amos), and Jay (Sarah) Placek; brothers, Gene (Mary Anne) Roland (Jean); grandchildren, Halie, Canyon, Alex, Stephanie, Chyanne, Hanna, Trevor, Caden, and Cody; great grandchildren, Brysen, Gwendolyn, and Adalyn.
