Jerald Stringer

Jerald Stringer “Gerald” of Farwell, TX passed away on September 4, 2021 at the age of 85.

Jerald was born to Truman and Effie May Stringer on March 18, 1936 in Klondike, TX. He was the youngest of 9 children. Jerald was raised by the Brewer family. In 1962, he married Margie Bell Ansen on February 22, 1962. The majority of his work career was spent farming in and around Farwell Texas. He enjoyed his work and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Jerald enjoyed metal detecting, coin collecting, fishing, vacationing at Red River, cooking, and pretending to be a bear. He greatly enjoyed the company of Friends and family. Despite numerous health issues, he maintained his cars and yard and was very proud of his home on 3rd street in Farwell Texas. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services for Jerald will be held on September 13, 2021 at 10 am at the Mission Garden of Memories ceremonial shelter.
