Marie Pruett

Mrs. Marie A. Pruett passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021 with her family by her side.

Marie A. Pruett was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania to John Chiodo and Adelaide Morocco Chiodo on May 27, 1929. She grew up in Farrell Penn with one younger brother. She graduated Farrell High and also attended Shenango Valley Business Institute.

She married her Husband Henry Pruett in 1958 in Pennsylvania. They were stationed in Ohio, Michigan, Alaska and New Mexico where they settled and raised their daughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Cockerham and husband Steve of Bovina, TX. Grandson Dalton Cockerham, wife Allie and great granddaughter Margo of Lubbock, TX. Granddaughter Danielle Thrash, husband Zane and great grandson Stetson of Ropesville, TX.

She worked 30 years with the Dept. of Defense, with the Navy, and then retiring at Cannon Air Force Base in 1984. She loved spending time with her grandkids. She was an avid crossword and lottery player. She was also a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
