Marsha Reid

Marsha Odell Peterson Reid passed away on June 3, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas. Marsha was born in Clovis, NM on July 29, 1934 to James Frederick Peterson (Bud) and LaVega Neely Peterson.

Marsha had several hobbies and loved to play cards like 42, and Convoy (convoy was her favorite). She also enjoyed fishing and camping with her boys, and spending time at the Senior Citizen Center in Logan, New Mexico. One of Marsha’s very favorite traditions was her annual family reunion held on July 4 ^th of each year.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, James Frederick Peterson and LaVega Neely Peterson, sons: sons Gary, Terry, and Danny Reid: grandson, Landon Reid. 3 brothers, Donald, James Edward, and John Peterson: and 2 sisters: Maurine Baker and Mozelle Fields.

Marsha is survived by sons Jack (Kim) Reid and Jimmy (Debbie) Reid; grandchildren Jeremy, Lexi, Kane, Shaun, Michael, Jerrica, Kambrie, Hailey, Kasey, and Kody; 17 great grandchildren and 1 brother, Oscar Peterson.

Visitation for Mrs. Reid will be held on Wednesday June 9, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Steed Todd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 10, 2021 at 10:00am at the Logan Cemetery in Logan, NM.
