Victor Porter

Victor Porter, 59, beloved son, brother and friend to so many, was called to his Father in Heaven on May 29, 2021.

He entered this world on March 3, 1962 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his father Manuel Florez and wife Shirley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother Larry (Bud) Porter and wife Donna of Duncan, Oklahoma; Nephew Kyle Porter and wife Sarah Porter of Perry, Oklahoma, nephew Phil Sexton and wife Michelle of Deer Creek , Oklahoma; niece Katie Porter and husband Dakota Marrow of Duncan; and niece Tammy Pulse and husband Mark of Grapevine, Texas; brother David R. Porter and nephew David A. Porter of Lawton, Oklahoma; brother Gene Porter and wife Janet of Clovis, New Mexico; brother Gill Florez nephew Jason and niece Sara and Rachel Florez; sister Deana Florez and nephew Alex and niece Alayna Florez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; cousin Steve Reese and wife Christina of Edmond, Oklahoma; step-mom and close friend Dejon Porter and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Victor was proceeded in death by his mother Jane Porter and Father Larry Porter, both of Clovis.

Victor worked for many years in funeral homes in Denver Colorado and Oklahoma City. He loved his Bella and loved making music for people to hear. His piano skills and ear for music were phenomenal. He was truly most happy when sitting in front of a keyboard. Victor had many close friends from all over the country and knew no strangers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturyday, June 5th at 1:30 p.m. at First Christian Church in Clovis, New Mexico.
