Phyllis Lee Walker, 89 of Clovis, passed away on March 22, 2023, in Clovis. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Jeb Archey officiating. Arrangements are made by Steed Todd Funeral Home. Phyllis was born in Clovis, NM on November 4, 1933 to Terry and Eugenia Lee. She married Gene Walker on August 22, 1954 in Clovis. With a heavy heart we mourn the loss of John Edward (Eddie) Starkey. John passed away on March 19, 2023, at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. He was born to Robert Joe and Cleo Davis Starkey on January 27, 1947, in Clovis, New Mexico. He was the second oldest of their four children. He was also raised with some of his treasured cousins. Mary Lou Lozano of Clovis, New Mexico died on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.  Mary Lou was born in Dahlia, New Mexico to Phoebe A. James (Jim) Charles Woods passed away at the age of 98. He died Thursday, February 16th, 2023 at the Farwell Care and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by family. On July 8, 1924, Jim was born to Charlie G. and Lucy Moss Woods in Grady, New Mexico. Jim would often reminisce about his early years. He had memories of riding in the back of a horse drawn wagon with his brothers and sister to go shopping in Clovis. A trip to town would take two days.
